Great resource. Would have loved to have this course at the beginning of this (divorce) process.

Very excellent counsellor and coach if you’re in a high-conflict separation/divorce situation that is able to help you regain your self-worth and help you believe you can be a good/strong/healthy mother for your struggling kids.

I learned different strategies to manage my emotions as I work to change my thinking and thought patterns…I am learning strategies to recognize when I’m stuck in a negative thought pattern. Your course has taught me how to question the thoughts I have and how to engage in change. I am grateful to have had this learning as I truly feel like I am gaining greater emotional control.

I’m Stacey Mendelson and I was you. I successfully navigated a vicious divorce and custody battle. I won.
In 2014 I was working as a veterinarian and I was a mom to a young boy on the Autism Spectrum. In other words, I was BUSY! While I was trying hard to support my kid and show up as a professional, my husband was busy having an affair.
Did this all come as a surprise? Honestly, no. The marriage sucked for at least 10 years, but I was just trying to hang on until my boy was old enough where I wouldn’t have to fight for custody.
I knew my husband would be a difficult opponent, but I underestimated his wrath. You name it, I faced it: domestic violence, criminal charges, harassment, legal and financial abuse.
I made plenty of mistakes, but I wised up along the way. I figured out my goals and got strategic. Step 1 was working on my own state of mind. What was a nice educated gal like me doing in a place like this? That’s when I discovered coaching.
I had no idea that my thoughts about myself had generated the life that I was living. I set about repairing all of it, and this is how I developed the strength to kick ass in my legal battle.
I conquered all of my divorce goals: sole custody, lifetime restraining order, support. But I actually gained so much more in the journey. My life and my son’s life is so much better than I ever dreamed possible. I am now a Certified Life Coach and can help you move forward in your divorce journey and achieve your divorce goals.
I am here to throw you a lifeline.
Navigating the system in dealing with a narcissist ex-husband and trying to keep my children safe is the biggest challenge I have ever had in my life. Stacey's course answers all my questions, gives excellent advice, and has helped me respond to letters from counsel. She has been able to prepare me for what is coming next…
— Sarah R.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course. I really appreciate all the words of wisdom that Stacey hard to share.
— Carrie R.
How much time do I need to devote to DSK?
Do I really need to spend the money on this? I have lots of expenses including legals.
Is there a specific start date?
I am not sure if I am a good fit for this course.
I am so happy that a connection I made with Stacey of Facebook lead me to this group. This course really helped me come to terms with my current co-parenting situation. I had been in the process of researching how to deal with my ex and this course brought everything together and taught me new ways. I went from crying in the second class because I was so overwhelmed and frustrated to feeling at peace and empowered by the last class. Thank you so much Stacey!
